1.Pretreatment of cow dung

The collected fresh cow dung has a high water content. First, it is dried naturally or dehydrated by a dung dehydrator, and then the dryer is used to reduce the water content of the cow dung to less than 15%, because too much water will reduce the efficiency of cow dung charcoal making. Then, the cow dung is crushed to less than 2cm by a crusher for subsequent carbonization.

The pretreated cow dung is placed in a pyrolysis reactor. The organic matter in the cow dung is decomposed in the high-temperature carbonization stage (400℃~600℃) to produce charcoal, bio-oil and syngas. The volatile gases generated during the carbonization process are treated by a cyclone dust collector and a flue gas purification tower and discharged through the chimney. Some volatile gases can be used as fuel to provide power for the carbonization process, realizing energy recycling, and the whole process meets international environmental standards.
